Photographer's signature, title and notes on verso.Hutardo was born in Arcos in 1929 and lived most of his life in Jerez where he studied art at the School of Arts and Crafts. His biography says, "The family atmosphere fostered his love of photography, since his father was a renowned photographer in the area." Throughout his life his work received awards in different competitions, including: the Hispanic World Magazine (1955), National Award of Tourism Photo (twice, 1971 and 1973), Harvest Festival Jerez (six times 1977,1978,1982, 1984, 1985 and 1986). His works were reproduced in numerous posters published by national, provincial and local institutions such as the Ministry of Information and Tourism, Ministry of Culture, and the City Councils of Jerez, Rota and Puerto de Santa María and others. He also worked as a photo historian in Jerez.A Street in Jerez bears his name at the request of the Jerez Cultural Association, Cine-Club Popular. His books include: Where Dreams Jerez (Caja de Ahorros de Jerez.
