Signed, dated and numbered 1/3 on verso.Born in France in 1951, Patrick Darphin has been working at photography since 1977. He is best known for his industrial and advertising photography, but he is also well known for his nature photography, particularly of the desert and his nudes. In 2002, the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Jardin des Plantes presented "Le Siècle de Théodore Monod & Désert Blanc, Photos de Patrick Darphin". That same year his photo portfolio was published in Eurazeo's annual report. His book "Le Désert Blanc" was published by Editions du Chène in March 2005.
